Pavilion Arts & Sustainability Inc (PA) is a Creswick based group of passionate locals wanting to help create a strong, more connected community through art.
This Lantern Parade is a community affair for all ages. Lanterns are used in life to light the way forward. Parading with lanterns representing countries of family origins, singing the cultural songs learned at school, dressing to match, and dancing will be enhanced by entertainment .
In the past most Australians have arrived by boats, looking for a brighter future in this land.

Friends of Cornish Hill
"All Creatures Great and Small"

Local primary school students have been learning about habitat and the creatures which shelter in it on Cornish Hill. Using natural materials such as clay, sticks and grasses to interpret body parts, and guided by Castlemaine ceramicist Ann Ferguson, students have created their own interpretations if Lizards and insects common to Central Victoria.
